Tehran (ST) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi renewed his call for an immediate end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, stressing his country’s support for any agreement supported by the Palestinian people and their resistance in this regard.
In a phone conversation with his Irish counterpart, Micheál Martin, Araghchi said: “Everyone must make immediate and effective efforts to the ceasefire in Gaza.”
Araghchi noted during the call that Iran wants to calm tensions in the region, but the Zionist entity is working to spread escalation and export violence to other areas, including the West Bank.
For his part, the Irish Minister expressed his country’s desire to achieve an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The two sides also discussed negotiations related to lifting sanctions imposed on Iran, and the crisis in Ukraine, and stressed the continuation of political consultations between the two parties.
Earlier today, Araghchi warned in a post on the Internet of the consequences of the escalation of Zionist criminality in the region.
