HOMS,(ST)_ Under the title “Syria for all Arabs and all Arabs to Syria and all of Palestine” , activities of the National Conference for Arab youth started in al-Baath university in Homs with the participation of delegations of 41 youth organizations from 13 Arab countries .
The Governor of Homs Ahmad Munir Muhammad stressed the importance of holding this conference, in bringing together Arab youths in Homs city , which has suffered from the scourge of terrorism, and of reviving the spirit of Arab nationalism through the establishment of Arab youth club in order to improve national Arab reality through disseminating intellectual awareness.
Speakers representing the Arab youths delegations stressed that what is happening in Syria is an orchestrated plot to destroy the country of Arabism and resistance, stressing that the Syrian people taught the world how people and their army are united together to achieve victory, urging Arab youths to abide by national principles.
They stressed that Syria was and is still a country of resistance and resistance men and the duty of young Arab people, to maintain her leading national role.
The participants in the activities of the first day of the conference voiced solidarity with Syria as the only remaining Arab stronghold of resistance , facing a global war alone and fighting against the Zionist project which targets the region.
The delegates then toured the city of Homs neighborhoods, including Baba Amr, and other suburbs , expressed regret over the destruction of Homs houses , government buildings and infrastructure by takfiri terrorism , visited wounded of the Syrian army in Homs and many of them donated their blood for the army.
It is noteworthy that the three-day conference includes seminars , meetings and youth visits to the families of the martyrs and some neighborhoods of the city of Homs , meetings with reconciliation committees and visits to al-Qusair and Talkalakh cities
Arab youth delegations from Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Yemen, Sudan, Mauritania and Somalia are taking part in the conference.
