Arab Writers Union: This year’s activities Focus on adherence to national principles, confronting cultural invasion
Damascus (ST) – The cultural activities of the Arab Writers Union for the current year focus on promoting the culture of resisting terrorism, confronting the cultural invasion, strengthening the national youth system and working to support them, in addition to confronting the occupation in all its forms, according to the head of the Arab Writers Union, Dr. Muhammad Al-Horani.
Al-Horani stated that the most important cultural activity of the Union this year is emphasizing the issue of the occupied Syrian territories in addition to printing a number of novels, plays and literary works related to the occupied Syrian Golan in particular and the Quneitra Governorate in general.
He pointed out that the plan includes deepening the concept of national identity in university seminars, exposing the terms that were used in the war on Syria, in addition to adhering to national principles.
Al-Horani emphasized the importance of calling for paying attention to the issue tangible and intangible heritage.
