Arab Writers Union condemns blatant Israeli aggression on Syrian lands

The Arab Writers Union condemned the blatant Israeli aggression on Syrian lands which occurred on Tuesday evening, describing it as a cowardly criminal aggression.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Union  affirmed that the brutal Zionist enemy  still insists on its terror and brutality against the Syrian Arab people, who thwarted their aggressive plans. It pointed out that Syria was and is still committed to its national stances and to supporting resistance.

The Union considered that the international community’s  lack of indifference to the repeated Zionist attacks  reults in a lack of confidence in it  among the peoples of the world.

The Union affirmed adherence to the option of resistance which aims at liberating all occupied Arab lands and the readiness to sacrifice for the sake of the homeland and the nation, expressing its hope for the recovery of  the Syrian Arab Golan and all occupied Arab lands.

It’s noteworthy that  our air defenses  intercepted on Tuesday Israeli missiles directed from the occupied Syrian Golan on some targets in the vicinity of Damascus.
