Arab tribes and clans in Hasakah province call on their members to actively participate in the forthcoming presidential elections

HASAKAH, (ST)_Arab tribes and clans in Hasakah province have reiterated their call for rejecting the presence of US and Turkish occupation forces in Syria and activating popular resistance as a choice to cleanse Syria  from occupation forces.

They also announced their support for the presidential elections that are   to be held on May, 26, 2021, according to a statement released on Tuesday by the Arab tribes and clans.

The statement said that the tribes of Shamer, Khwatneh, Al-Dalim condemn the illegal practices of the US and Turkish occupation forces against the residents in Hasakah province and the looting of Syria’s wealth by these forces.

It affirmed that the practices of the US and Turkish occupation forces in Syria serve the Zionist agenda that aims to fragment the region.  

The tribes called on all their members to actively participate in the upcoming presidential elections as a national and moral duty and to democratically respond to the world in a way that reflects the Syrian people’s awareness and strength.
