Arab tribes and clans in Al-Hasakah: We will actively participate in the presidential elections

Al-Hasakah, (ST) – Arab tribes and clans in Al-Hasakah Governorate have reaffirmed that, they will actively participate in the presidential elections scheduled for the 26th of this month.

In a statement to SANA, the tribes indicated that holding the presidential elections on time and participating in this matter effectively is “a victory for the Syrian people and a new defeat for terrorism, its tools and supporters.”

The tribes pointed out in their statement that “the people of Al-Hasakah governorate are facing the American and Turkish occupations that violate international and humanitarian conventions and norms. They steal the capabilities and wealth of the Syrians, and commit all forms of crimes such as looting, starvation, and cutting off drinking water to put pressure on the people in an attempt to undermine their national unity.”

The tribes affirmed that the occupation “will disappear thanks to the national unity and solidarity of the Syrians and their heroic army. They stressed that, the only survival is for national legitimacy and sovereignty, and there is no survival of any agent, or mortgagee of the occupation
