Arab politicians, journalists and academics affirm Syria will triumph over Turkish occupation and terrorists

CAPITALS, (ST)- A number of Arab politicians, parties, researchers and journalists have condemned the Turkish regime’s aggression on Syrian territories and voiced their support for the Syrian army and people in the confrontation of terrorism and occupation.

In Baghdad, Iraqi politicians and journalists stressed that Syria will triumph over the Turkish occupation and the terrorists in Idleb as well as on the Zionist-American scheme in the region.

Eyad al-Naseri, a leader in the Iraqi Arab Movement told SANA reporter in Baghdad that Syria’s complete victory over terrorism has become imminent thanks to the deep cohesion between the Syrian people, army and leadership.

Mikdad al-Baghdadi, Deputy Secretary General of Iraqi Arab Nationalist Movement  said that the Turkish regime’s flagrant aggression on Syrian territories is an aggression on the entire Arab nation.

President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyib Erdogan is a criminal revolving in the Zionist-American orbit, said al-Baghdadi, pointing out that Erdogan’s policies have confirmed his hostility to everything that is Arab, calling for supporting Syria in confronting this aggression.

Iraqi writer Ahmad al-Sharifi, on his part, said that Syria’s inevitable  victory over the Turkish aggression would change the equation of balance in the region and would have certain outcomes that may lead to the collapse of the Justice and Development Party and the end of Erdogan’s rule.

In Beirut, Lebanese academics and researchers hailed the Syrian Army’s recent victories over terrorism in Aleppo and Idleb, affirming that the Terrorist-Turkish-Zionist scheme in Syria has failed to achieve its goals.

The Syrian Arab Army will emerge from this battle stronger and more capable to liberate more areas, according to Dr. Sadeq al-Nabulsi, Professor of Political Sciences and International Relations in the Lebanese University.

In Sanaa, the Yemeni Anti-Aggression Parties Bloc condemned the Turkish regime’s aggression on Syria and its support for terrorists groups in the country.

The bloc’s spokesman Aref al-Ameri said that the Turkish aggression undoubtedly proves that Erdogan’s regime lacks the minimum level of honesty given its violation of the agreements reached in the Astana and Sochi meetings on Syria.
