Arab Parties Conference: The Israeli occupation plans in the town of Ghajar and Kfar Shuba are an assault on Lebanese sovereignty

Today, the General Secretariat of the General Conference of Arab Parties condemned the repeated Zionist attacks on southern Lebanon, especially in the Kfar Shuba area and the town of Ghajar.

“What is happening in the town of Ghajar is a new assault on the Lebanese sovereignty, and it foretells a dangerous development,” said Secretary-General of the Conference, Qassem Salih in a statement published by the Lebanese National News Agency.

Saleh pointed out that the Zionist plans represented in building a barbed wire fence and establishing a concrete wall around the entire town of Ghajar mean seeking to re-occupy it and separate it from its natural, historical surroundings inside Lebanese territory.

Saleh explained that this is accompanied by Israeli attacks by bombing the vicinity of the town of Kfar Shuba, and the imposition of the occupation forces.

Saleh added: “We condemn these dangerous measures, and hold the international community, the United Nations and UNIFIL forces, in addition to the Zionist entity, the consequences of these measures and what may result from them.”

Saleh stressed the support of the party conference for the state, the army and the people in Lebanon to take all required measures to prevent these Zionist attacks, in addition to supporting the efforts of the Lebanese resistance and its right to liberate the occupied Lebanese lands, and to preserve and defend national sovereignty in the face of any blatant aggression.
