Arab Parliament condemns Israeli occupation’s bombing of UNRWA School in central Gaza

CAIRO, JUN.8, (ST)- The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s  bombing of UNRWA school in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, which led to the martyrdom of about 40 displaced people, most of them women and children.

The Arab Parliament affirmed yesterday that this aggression is a continuation of the massacres being perpetrated by the Israeli entity, which ignores the decisions of the International Court of Justice, and goes ahead with its military operations in which innocent civilians are being killed under the eyes of the international community and the Security Council, in a new and blatant violation of the provisions of international humanitarian law and the provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention for the year 1949, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The Parliament called on the international community, the UN Security Council, international organizations, and human rights organizations to shoulder their responsibilities, stop the ongoing aggression, genocidal war, and ethnic cleansing against Palestinian civilians, protect innocent civilians, conduct urgent and immediate investigations into the massacres and crimes committed by the occupying entity against civilians, and provide international protection for the Palestinian people.
