Arab League Assistant Secretary General to SANA: “We discussed key issues that support joint Arab action”

Jeddah – Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League Hussam Zaki said in a statement to SANA on Monday that the Preparatory meeting of the Economic and Social Council in Jeddah discussed different social issues that are important for Joint Arab action”.

“We are keen through these meetings to discuss the issues of the Arab citizens and their living conditions,” Zaki added. He explained that we have not yet achieved economic integration at the highest level, but there are good plans and we have taken notable steps towards achieving this integration.

Zaki said: “Today I made a statement on behalf of the Secretary General of the Arab League in which I welcomed Syria’s return to its seat in the Arab summit which opens a new stage in the current Arab situation and benefits all Arab societies.
