Arab international popular campaign to lift the siege imposed on Syria calls on the honorable and free people of the world to expedite help to the Syrian people
The Arab and international popular campaign to lift the siege imposed on Syria called in an appeal to the honorable nations and the free people of the world to lift the unjust Western siege imposed on Syria, so that aid and relief can reach the country after the devastating earthquake.
The appeal came in the context of a statement issued by the campaign.
The appeal text is the following: “To the honorable people of our nation and to the free people of the world, Syria is in dire need today to lift the unjust Western blockade imposed on it so that aid and relief can reach the country, in addition to the need to liberate its natural wealth of oil and wheat by lifting the hands of the Americans and their allies on it, especially after this terrifying natural disaster that befell Syria as a result of the devastating earthquake and its aftershocks and repercussions.”
The campaign added: “The Syrian people are suffering greatly from the difficult economic situation and natural disasters as a result of the devastating earthquake and the harsh cold weather, in addition to an acute shortage of fuel.”
The campaign continued: “We call on all Arab, Islamic and international humanitarian organizations and all forces, unions and associations to expedite the provision of aid to the Syrian people, who have never been stingy in extending a helping hand to those who need it, whether they were Arab or non-Arab.”
In Jordan, the head of the Society Against Zionism and Racism, the academic and the released prisoner, Dr. Azmi Mansour, called on his country’s government, all Arab governments, all civil society institutions, and every free and honorable Arab to start offering a helping hand to Syria after the devastating earthquake.
Mansour called for lifting the unjust blockade imposed on Syria, expressing his deepest condolences to the Syrian people for the earthquake victims, and wishing recovery for the injured.
