Arab human rights defenders: The crimes of the Turkish and American occupations in Syria are war crimes against humanity
A number of Arab lawyers called on the UN Security Council immediately to deter Turkish and American occupation and force them to stop crimes of water cutting and stealing wheat and oil from Syrian territory.
The Assistant Deputy Secretary-General in the Permanent Office of the Arab Lawyers Union of Egypt Sayed Shaaban said that the Security Council was required to intervene to end the crimes of the Turkish occupation, in particular the crime of water cuts more than one million citizens in Hasakah.
Shaaban confirmed that the theft of the US occupation of oil and wheat from Syrian territory is violated by international and international legitimacy.
The Sudanese Lawyer Zine El AbidineMohamed Hamad said that the theft and assault on the Syrians and the attack on their territory from Turkish and American occupation violated international laws.
Palestinian lawyer Hussain Shabanah said that the lawyers participating in the meeting of the Arab Lawyers’ Union in Damascus confirm their solidarity with Syria and its right to defend its territory.
He added that the Turkish regime cutting off the water from Hasakah and depriving its citizens, represents a crime against humanity requiring accountability and prosecuting”.
Rachidat said: “ The Permanent Office of the Arab Lawyers Union is working on the formation of Turkish occupation crimes.”
Lebanese lawyer Bushra al-Khalil noted that the United States looting of the Syrian oil is not strange about US gangs and that a committee could be formulated for the establishment of US and Turkey’s violations in Syrian territory before the International Criminal Court.
Moroccan lawyer Abdel Hafeez Bochentov pointed out that the Turkish regime’s occupation of some Syrian lands comes in the context of its aggressive policies and ambitions through the Turkification of these areas in an attempt to re-experience the occupation of Alexandretta.
He added that the United States does not respect international legitimacy and international law since World War II until today.
He stressed that Arab lawyers are calling theinternational forums to stop the attacks and crimes of the American and Turkish occupations in Syria, expressing at the same time his confidence in the ability of the resistant Syrian people to defend their land.
