Arab Foreign Ministers discuss draft resolution on the Israeli aggression on Gaza

The Arab Foreign Ministers on Thursday held the preparatory meeting of the Emergency Arab Summit due to be held in Riyadh on Saturday, November 11, 2023, to discuss the draft resolution regarding the developments in Gaza Strip in the light of the Israeli ongoing aggression.

During the meeting, Syria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad affirmed the need to coordinate a unified effective Arab stance on the Israeli barbaric aggression and war of genocide on the Palestinian people. He also stressed the need to uncover the Israeli schemes to displace the Palestine people from their homes and lands.

Al-Mikdad reiterated that all efforts should be concentrated on the immediate halt of the Israeli genocidal war and on allowing access to humanitarian aid into Gaza and on rejecting the forcible displacement of the Palestinian people.

Earlier, the Arab Foreign Ministers held extensive discussions of the draft resolution, covering all the ideas and opinions expressed, reflecting the unity of the Arab position and covering all aspects related to the Palestinian people’s cause.
