RIYADH, ( ST)- The goal of the Arab Economic Summit held in Riyadh is searching for Arab desirable economic integration, missing cooperation and absent development and ended to the same destiny of its precedent gathering as a protocol show that not enriching nor fattening of hunger, not achieving integration nor breeding development. The enemies of Syria exploited this event to repeat their positions and pass their political messages to intervene in the Syrian affairs although it is supposed to be limited to the economic aspect.
Speeches of the participants in the Riyadh Summit were free from any substance or essence and a duplicated copy of the precedent summits and did not have any impact. The summit confirmed once again that this system is helpless and unable to cope with the challenges that beset the Arab states and their future in light of the modest numbers of inter-Arab trade volume, low domestic investment, decline in human development indicators and economic growth.
Studies and researches indicates to the increase the of economic challenges facing the Arab countries and their inability to keep pace with the world economic activity and entering the world, the era of economic blocs and common markets, while the wealthy Arab states are busy in completing urban and commercial development instead of developing the human being and developing the agricultural, industrial, research and scientific sectors.
The draft resolutions, recommendations, programs, plans, promises to establish a free trade zone, investment of the Arab capital in Arab countries, accelerating the pace of development, boosting growth, creating financial funds and increasing its capital to turn to eventually ink on paper because the owners of these funds are busy in oil reserves to finance terrorism, chaos, strife and conflict in the Arab world or transferring these funds to Western banks.
It could be said that the summit succeeded only in showing the overall incapability of the Arab League especially after the domination of the oil-producing countries on this foundation, and turning it into a tool to lure foreign interference to the benefit of their interests and not the interests of other Arab countries drowning in poverty and suffering from lack of development.
Some of the participants in the economic forum seemed as if they were weeping on the suffering of the Syrian people by the externally sponsored terrorism ignoring that the main reason is the unilateral economic sanctions by the West on the Syrian people and their immoral participation.
Arab League Secretary General, Nabil Al Arabi, mourned the mission of the international envoy to Syria Lakhdar Al Ibrahimi after failing to impose a transitional stage on the size and desires of those who employed Al Arabi under the banner of a political solution. He reiterated his demand to the Security Council to hold a meeting immediately and issue a resolution against Syria under Chapter VII.
Al Arabi forgot deliberately the worsening of humanitarian tragedy in Syria and the deterioration of the economic conditions of its citizens and ignored the join of his foundation to those who impose sanctions on all the
