Arab condemnations for the Israeli aggression on Syrian territories

Beirut-Cairo, (ST) – The Civil Campaign in Support of Palestine and the Causes of the Nation denounced the Israeli aggression on Syrian lands last night.

A statement issued by the campaign after its meeting in Beirut on Wednesday said that, the new Zionist aggression against Syria is an attempt by the occupation authorities to cover up their failure in confronting the Palestinian uprising.

In Cairo, the advisor at the Egyptian Command and Staff College, Major General Muhammad Al-Shahawi, denounced the Israeli aggression against Syria. He stressed that it is a violation of Syrian sovereignty and international law.

Al-Shahawi considered that, the aggression comes within the framework of the plans of the Israeli occupation entity to spoil the joy of the Syrians in their victory over terrorism.

Last night, Syrian Air Defenses confronted an Israeli missile attack from Lebanese airspace against  targets in the central and southern regions.Syrian Air Defenses intercepted the missiles and downed some of them.
