Arab Civil Aviation Organization elects Syria as member of Air Safety Committee

RABAT, JUL.6, (ST)-The Arab Civil Aviation Organization(ACAO) has elected Syria as a member of the Air Safety Committee (Aviation Safety), at the end of the meetings of the 28th ordinary session of the General Assembly of the Organization, which were held at the level ministerial in Rabat, the Moroccan capital.

This committee is considered one of the most important technical committees of the Organization, in addition to (the Air Transport Committee, the Environment Committee, the Aeronautics Committee, the Financial and Administrative Control Committee) which prepare all technical work and projects, as well as themes submitted by the General Assembly or the Executive Council, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

Syria participated through a delegation from the Ministry of Transport and the public civil aviation company in the meetings of the 28th session of the Assembly and the 69th session of the Executive Council, which were held between July 1st and 4th.
