Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, ACSAD discuss carrying out new agricultural projects in Syria

Chairman of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) Mohamed Bin Obaid Al-Mazrooei, and Director General of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD)Nase Edin Al-Obeid on Saturday discussed cooperation to achieve the goals of sustainable agricultural development in addition to the possibility of carrying out new agricultural projects in Syria.

Al-Mazrooei said that AAAID is looking forwards to enhancing cooperation with ACSAD to benefit from the results of the research works it has conducted and to strengthen joint work that creates new investment projects in the Syrian agricultural sector in a way that serves the Syrian people’s interests. He pointed out that the authority will discuss with concerned parties in Syria all the opportunities and the facilitations necessary to implement future projects.

For his part, Al-Obeid stressed ACSAD’s readiness to put all its capabilities and expertise in the service of the AAAID’s projects and programs in a way that meets its plans and aspirations to boost the agricultural sector in all Arab countries.
