Arab and Islamic countries’ ambassadors in Moscow organize a stand of solidarity with the Palestinian people

A number of ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries in Russia organized a stand of solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, expressing their condemnation of the brutal attacks committed  by the Israeli occupation  on the Strip as well as  their denunciation of the policy of  ethnic cleansing carried out by “Israel” supported by  American  protection.

Syrian Ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari, said in a speech during the stand of solidarity “Our tragedy as Arabs and Muslims began since the Balfour Declaration in 1917, and since then we have not been fighting Israel  alone, but rather everyone who supports this entity and justifies its crimes.

Al-Jaafari stressed that despite all the lies that the occupation entity and the United States are spreading about the Palestinian people, the issue of Palestine will remain a just and right one , noting that “to this day the United Nations confirms in all its documents that the Palestinian territories are occupied ones  and all the decisions of this international organization concerning defending the Palestinian issue are adopted by a big majority for the benefit  of the Palestinian people.

For his part, the Palestinian ambassador to Moscow Abdel Hafeez Nofal said” The criminal attacks on the Gaza Strip, imposing a siege on it, starving its people and displacing  them , reveal  the reality of the policy of ethnic cleansing adopted by the Israeli entity.

“The Palestinian people are steadfast and cling to their land despite all Israeli attempts to displace and target them,” Nofal said in an interview with SANA’s correspondent in Moscow.

He pointed out that the Palestinian people  will defend their land and sanctities with the help and support of the Arab and Islamic world and all peace-loving forces in the world.

The Iranian ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, stressed that the massacres to which the Palestinian people are being exposed are a tragedy for all of humanity, stressing that the Palestinian issue is not only an issue of Arabs or Muslims, but rather its an issue that concerns the entire world.

For his part, the political activist and Russian expert on Middle Eastern issues Maxim Shevchenko stated that the crimes committed by Israel  in Gaza are a continuation of the series of crimes it has committed since 1948, when the West declared its support for global Zionism by waging its war against the people of Palestine and against human civilization.

Shevchenko stressed that Israel is a false entity directed against the interests of Arabs and all peace-loving peoples. It is a colonial tool for American and Atlantic intervention in the Middle East, and it also represents the interests of the American financial oligarchy.

In addition,  a stand  of mourning for the souls of the martyrs of Gaza was held at the Central Mosque in the Russian capital in the presence of a large number of Russian and foreign citizens. The preachers stressed that the massacres carried out by the Israeli entity against Palestinian civilians, including women, children, the sick and the wounded, are nothing but an attempt to cover up the failure that the occupation suffered due to the Palestinian resistance.
