Arab and international parties and personalities: the presidential elections demonstrated the will of the Syrian people
Arab and international parties and personalities confirmed that the massive participation of the Syrian people in the presidential elections and the victory of President Bashar Al-Assad in these elections demonstrated the will of the Syrian people and their adherence to their decision and sovereignty.
Atef El Maghawry, a member of the Egyptian Parliament and Deputy Chairman of the National Progressive Unionist Rally expressed his hope that Syria would begin “an era and a new phase of harmony, security, stability, prosperity and reconstruction under the leadership of President al-Assad.
For its part, the Progressive Arab Baath Party in Jordan affirmed that the Syrian people expressed their principled choice by choosing the leader “who achieved victory after victory on the road to liberating the entire Syrian land and will continue the liberation march towards complete victory, politically and economically, and the reconstruction of the homeland.
The party pointed out that this renewed choice was a message of a people who believed in its leader and the choice was national, sovereign and looked forward to a secure and stable future that emphasizes restoring rights and building a free state.
The writer and journalist Muhammad al-Fawal stressed in an article published in the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Gomhoria newspaper, that the completion and success of the presidential elections shows the will of the Syrian people and the independence of their decision, away from any pressure or bargaining.
Al-Fawal explained that the massive popular participation in the elections clearly reflected the cohesion between the Syrians and their leader, President Al-Assad.
From India, Professor Kamal Aftab Pasha, Director of the Center for West Asian Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, praised the importance of the success of the presidential elections in Syria and the victory of President al-Assad.
The Indian professor stressed the need to stop foreign interference in the Syrian affairs and to stand by Syria in the face of the unilateral economic measures imposed by the West on it.
For his part, the Indian actor and director Akbar Khan congratulated President Al-Assad for the victory and the Syrian people for the victory he achieved through the completion of the elections.
