Arab and international condemnations of the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus continue

Cairo, (ST) – The League of Arab States condemned the Israeli attack that targeted the Iranian consulate building in Damascus yesterday. It considered this attack a violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic, and a new serious violation by “Israel” of international law, especially the Vienna Convention regarding respect for diplomatic headquarters.

The League warned of the danger of the actions committed by “Israel” that aim to expand the war it is waging on the Gaza Strip regionally and push the region into a state of chaos. It called for the need to continue efforts to immediately stop this war and put an end to the crimes committed by “Israel” on a daily basis.

For its part, the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the Israeli attack. It stressed that it constitutes a violation of international laws and norms.

The Secretariat indicated that “Israel” does not give weight to all international laws.

In Prague, the Czech, Moravian and Čelzko union group strongly condemned the Israeli aggression against the Iranian consulate in Damascus. It indicated that it represents a terrorist act that must not go unpunished.

The assembly’s secretary, Martin Beach, confirmed in a statement to SANA’s correspondent in Prague today that the escalation of the Israeli entity’s aggression shows the depth of the crisis it is going through. He stressed that every aggressor in history has fallen in the end, and therefore the entity’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu will meet the same fate as the Nazi leader Hitler.

Yemen condemned the Israeli aggression against the Iranian consulate building in Damascus. It explained that the Israeli enemy, by taking this criminal step, is trying to export its internal crisis abroad after its failure for about half a year in the face of the Palestinian resistance in its brutal aggression against Gaza Strip.
