Arab and foreign companies take part in “Buildex 2023” due to kick off on Wednesday

Damascus, (ST) – Next Wednesday, the activities of the 20th edition of the International Exhibition for Construction “Buildex 2023” will start oat the Damascus Fairgrounds.

About 320 local and regional brands are participating in the exhibition, which is organized by the Arab Group for Exhibitions, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, displaying their products of building and construction materials, stone, marble, paint, insulation materials, air conditioning, ventilation and solar energy equipment.

A number of companies that display products related to water technologies and environmental sustainability, Home furnishings, real estate development and engineering offices, security and safety systems, lighting, and other building equipment and supplies also participate in the exhibition.

The General Manager of the organizing company, Eng. Alaa Hilal indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the exhibition attracts an elite group of Syrian businessmen, and official delegations from the Syndicates of Engineers and Contractors and their branches in the governorates. He pointed out that this session is characterized by direct international participation from Iran, Belarus, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Iraq, in addition to Delegations from Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan.

Eng. Hilal considered that holding this edition of the exhibition will be an important opportunity to introduce the Syrian industries to their potential foreign markets, and a gateway through which companies and investors interested in the Syrian market will cross. He added that the exhibition is a real opportunity for students of engineering faculties to link higher education to labor markets.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition continues until the 11th of this month, with free transportation for visitors.
