Aoun demands an end to Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty

Lebanese President General Michel Aoun renewed his condemnation of the repeated Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty and demanded an end to it.

During his meeting today with General Stefano Del Col, head of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Aoun stressed the permanent coordination between the United Nations forces in southern Lebanon and the Lebanese Army Command in the measures and tasks undertaken by UNIFIL. He underlined the importance of strengthening relations with the people, municipalities and local bodies. .

During the meeting, Aoun reaffirmed Lebanon’s commitment to international resolutions, especially Resolution 1701.

The Israeli enemy continues, on a daily basis, its violations of Lebanon’s airspace, lands and territorial waters, neglecting  all the norms and international laws.
