Aoun: Brotherly relations between Lebanon and Syria are important

BEIRUT, DEC.14M (ST)-The Lebanese president Michel Aoun has affirmed that the brotherly relations between Lebanon and Syria are important, referring to Syria’s support for Lebanon. 
 
Aoun’s remarks came during his meeting’s today with a delegation representing the regional leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Lebanon. 
 
He declared that the brotherly relations between Lebanon and Syria are implemented on the ground through the stand of Syrian leadership and people with Lebanon. 
 
Aoun spoke about Syria’s cooperation in facilitating the process of transferring gas and electricity through its territories from Jordan and Egypt, hoping that stability will be restored to all areas in Syria. 
 
For his part, the head of the party’s delegation Ali Hijazi talked about the need to enhance Syrian-Lebanese relations for the interest of Lebanon the positive Syrian initiatives towards Lebanon in all fields.
