Antonov: Washington’s statements denouncing the genocide of the Russians in Donbas are disgusting

Washington (ST): The Russian ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, described the US statements that belittle and deny the extermination of the Russian population in Donbas as “rude and disgusting.”

 

In response to the statements of the US State Department spokesman, Ned Price, who considered that there are no grounds for the allegations of genocide in Donbas and that such assessments are alarming, Antonov said, according to what RIA Novosti reported: “This is outrageous. Otherwise, how can one look at the bombing of residential areas by Ukrainian forces using rocket launchers or to the discovered mass graves of nearly 300 civilians near Lugansk who died only because they considered Russian their mother tongue.”

Antonov stressed that the statements of the US authorities not only demonstrate double standards on the part of Washington but also reflect “the insolence of it
