Antonov: Biden’s insults demonstrate impotence of US authorities

Another outburst by US President Joe Biden against Russian leader Vladimir Putin demonstrates Washington’s impotence, the US administration is suffering from one fiasco after another, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said, according to TASS.

“Another unacceptable outburst completely fits in with the Russophobic line of Washington, which does not let up in its desire to ‘bury’ bilateral relations and inflict a ‘strategic defeat’ on Russia. The weakness from frankly poor foreign policy results of the administration, which fails one after another, is obvious,” the Russian embassy quoted Antonov as saying on its Telegram channel.

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS that America can hardly be proud of Biden’s latest outburst against Putin.

On Friday, Biden called Putin a “thug” in a public speech, Tass reported.
