The Health Directorate of Hasakah province has extended the anti-Cholera oral vaccination campaign for four days, starting from January 2nd, 2023.
Dr. Issa Khalaf, the Director of Health in Hasakah, told SANA reporter that the 10-day campaign, which kicked off on December 20th, has extended for four days in order to reach all the targeted areas in this province, particularly as there is a notable turnout of locals who want to be vaccinated against Cholera.
He pointed out that the number of citizens who have been vaccinated since the beginning of the campaign until last week reached 333920, which is 84,5% of targeted category.
He clarified that 8 health centers and 57 mobile teams were set to provide the vaccination service to people in rural areas and residential districts in Hasakah.
