Riadh, (ST) – Proving the involvement of Saudi Arabia in sending terrorists to Syria, the Saudi Ozaz newspaper on Wednesday admitted that Ahmad Bin Mufdi al-Saqri, a Saudi terrorist, was killed in Syria. The announcement came a day after the pro-Saudi “al-Hayat” daily had announced that the Saudi terrorist Yazeed Mohammad Al-Shahri (Abu Hafs) was also killed in the country.
According to “Okaz”, al-Saqri, an employee in his twenties, left his home two years ago to fight in Afghanistan. He infiltrated into Syria across the Turkish borders in July of last year to join the so-called “Free Army”.
“His family, who has got no photos proving his death, received a phone call from Islamist groups stressing his being killed in Aleppo,” the newspaper said.
It affirmed that many Saudis had infiltrated into Syria across the Turkish borders with the help of armed terrorist groups.
Earlier, al-Hayat had admitted the killing of another Saudi terrorist called Yazeed Mohammad al-Shahri in Syria after he received military training in armed terrorist groups’ camps.
The newspaper report confirmed the involvement of the Arab Gulf regimes in the crisis in Syria through sending money and terrorists to back the armed groups in Syria.
