ANKARA, (ST) – Former Turkish Foreign Minister Yasar Yakis has stressed that Ankara has no right to interfere in the internal affairs of Syria or to launch aggression on the country whatever the justifications are.
In a statement to a Turkish TV channel yesterday, Yakis asserted his rejection of Erdogan’s regime’s anti-Syria policies, affirming that only the Syrian people have the right to decide Syria’s future and that all should cooperate with Damascus to end the crisis in the country.
Yakis expressed concern over Turkey’s relation with the terrorist organizations in Syria, saying that “this relation will cause many problems to Turkey in terms of international relations.”
