An official reception for the Syrian sports delegation participating in the Asian Games in China

The organizing committee of the nineteenth Asian Games held a reception for the participating sports delegations, including the Syrian delegation, in the Olympic Village in the Chinese city of Khanzhou.

Vice President of the General Sports Federation and head of the Syrian sports delegation participating in the Asian games, Omar Al-Aroub, presented the shield of the Syrian Olympic Committee to the organizing committee.

The ceremony included raising the Syrian flag accompanied by the playing of the national anthem.

This is Syria’s eleventh participation in the Asian Games, the last of which was the 18th Asian Games in Indonesia in 2018 when player Majd al-Din Ghazal won the bronze medal in the high jump competition.
