Daraa (ST): An Irish tourist group visited the city of Bosra al-Sham and saw its archaeological features.
The group includes doctors, physiotherapists, an economist and a natural scientist, as the group expressed great admiration for the ancient city and its rare antiquities.
The tour guide accompanying them, Muhammad al-Bahra, said in a statement to news reporter: “The Irish group expressed its admiration for the city of Bosra, and confirmed that it will work to convey the civilized image of the city to the Irish people.”
Al-Bahra indicated that the tourists praised the efforts exerted by those in charge of the tourism and archaeological sectors in terms of securing protection and care for archaeological sites and achieving security and safety for these pieces, stressing that Syria has begun to recover and return to international tourism destinations.
