An explosive device went off in a car in the North Al-Khat neighborhood in the city of Dara’a

Dara’a, (ST) – An explosive device planted by unknown persons in a public car went off on Monday in the North Al-Khat neighborhood in the city of Dara’a, causing material damage.

Dara’a Police Commander Brigadier General Dirar Al-Dandal said in a statement to SANA reporter that unidentified persons placed an explosive device in a public tourist car opposite Al-Jumhuriya Club in the North Al-Khat neighborhood, and it exploded causing material damage to the car, without any human casualties.

 

Remnants of  terrorist groups are still deployed in the countryside of Dara’a, trying from time to time to destabilize the security situation in the city by carrying out bombings and sporadic attacks on public and private properties.
