Civil sources said that that unusual movements of the US occupation forces were observed in the area after the explosion, without details of its causes or results due to the closure imposed by the occupation in the vicinity of the base.
Last Thursday, drones targeted the US occupation base in the Al-Omar oil field in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, for the third time within days.
In recent days, the US-backed SDF militias occupied areas have witnessed an escalation in attacks by popular factions with explosive devices and bullets targeting the militia’s positions.
