An exhibition to market the products of working women at Dar Al-Assad for culture to face the high prices

As part of the project to support the economic life of the working family, Lattakia branch of the Federation of trade unions held a three-day exhibition to market the products of working women at Dar al Assad for Culture.

Leila Esper, member of the Executive Office and chairman of the working women’s committee in the federation, pointed out that the exhibition aims to market the products of working women, improve the standard of living of the working family and confront the increasing prices.

The exhibition showcases cosmetics, accessories and ornamental plants, as well as detergents of various kinds.

The curator of the exhibition, Haifa al-Assad, explained that the participants in the exhibition followed professional courses at the Federation of trade unions in Damascus and developed themselves and their products with hard work, and enhanced experience until they produced high quality products.

Participants Wafa Abbas, Inal Ajeeb and Mariette Tannous from the Union of printing, media and culture workers, stressed that their participation in the exhibition is to market their products and exchange experiences in the detergent industry of various types.

Participant Mayada Abbas from the Agricultural Development Workers Union said “I am a mother of a martyr, I have undergone a professional course in the Association of martyrs ‘sons and another in the Workers’ Union and I have a good experience in the cosmetics and detergents industry,” expressing gratitude to those in charge of the event.

Participant Ramza Naseer said: I participate in the exhibition with handmade works made of pottery, straw, burlap, bamboo, art paintings and others.
