An evening of Syrian-Belarusian friendship in the framework of the recreation camp for Syrian children in Minsk

The“Syrian-Belarusian friendship evening” was held yesterday evening at the Belarusian National Health Education Centre (Zubronak camp) with the participation of children participating in the first recreational camp of the current year organized by Belarus for Syrian children.

During the event, which was attended by representatives of the Syrian embassy in Belarus, Syrian children presented a number of national shows and performances that express the history of Syria, its civilization and heritage, which were admired and appreciated by the attendees.

Syrian children and their Belarusian friends exchanged souvenirs as an expression of the friendly relations that have arisen between them.

Through these gifts, the Syrian children expressed their appreciation for the humanitarian initiative of the Republic of Belarus and its leadership in establishing this camp, which has been ongoing since 2017.

It is noteworthy that the camp hosted by Belarus, which is the first of its kind this year, began on May 16 and ends on the twenty-ninth of the same month, with the participation of 75 children and 6 supervisors. It will be followed by two more camps during the coming June and August, so that the number of children participating in these three camps this year will reach 225 children.
