An enemy Israeli force attacks a Lebanese army patrol with smoke and sound bombs

Beirut, (ST) – An Israeli enemy force carried out a provocative attack with smoke and sound bombs, targeting a Lebanese army force in the liberated territories of southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Army Command stated that elements of the Israeli enemy violated the withdrawal line and fired smoke bombs towards a Lebanese army patrol, while a bulldozer that was removing an earthen berm erected by the Israeli enemy north of the withdrawal line in the Bastra region in southern Lebanon.

The statement indicated that members of the Lebanese army patrol responded to the attack by firing tear gas bombs at enemy members, forcing them to withdraw to the occupied Palestinian territories.
