An Australian writer asks: “How many children must be killed before Israel stops its war on Gaza?”

Australian writer Caitlin Johnston wondered how many Palestinians must be killed before Israel feels satisfied and achieves its goals whatever their kind is.

Writer Johnston noted that the occupation forces are still, for the twentieth day in a row, killing hundreds of Palestinians and destroying entire neighborhoods in Gaza Strip in cold blood under the sight of the global powers that support these crimes.

Johnston said in an article published on the Medium platform: “Nothing will change what happened on October 7th, but what can change is making a decision to stop all this killing that Israel is doing in Palestine.”

She added: “The main question is that the world must ask now is “how many martyrs and children must die before “Israel” is satisfied and stops its war on Gaza?, and how high must the amount of children’s bodies and body parts reach before “Israel” feels that this is sufficient, and how many residential neighborhoods must be destroyed.”

She pointed out that “Israel” is suffocating the Palestinians in Gaza Strip with a siege that prevents them from obtaining water, food, medicine, or fuel, and is destroying residential neighborhoods with heavy, deadly weapons of war, and destroying hospitals over the heads of those inside them, and all of this is happening in front of the world.

Johnston concluded by saying: “The answer to the question that should be asked about how many people “Israel” should kill, and at what point it will stop its genocide against the Palestinians, will explain a lot about humanity.”

Scottish Prime Minister: How many children must die before a ceasefire is called for in Gaza

The Prime Minister of Scotland Humza Yousaf has criticized the support of the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Leader of the British Labor Party Keir Starmer for the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Yousaf said on X on Thursday: “I cannot understand the Prime Minister’s position or Starmer’s unwillingness to call on all parties to commit to an immediate ceasefire,” wondering at the same time “how many more children must die before a ceasefire is called for in Gaza.”

He described the position of Starmer and Sunak regarding not calling for a ceasefire and allowing more aid to enter Gaza as “infuriating.”
