Homs (ST): About 39 artists came from different governorates to display some of their artistic creations in a plastic exhibition, as a tribute to the spirit of the late artist Ahmed Rahal and his creative message and cultural gift over thirty years.
The exhibition, which was hosted by the archaeological hall of the Church of the Holy Spirit of the Syriac Catholic Diocese in Homs, was organized by the Ornina Forum for Culture under the title A tribute to the spirit of the late artist Ahmed Rahal, a member of the Ornina Forum.
The artist, Muhammad Salman, was inspired by the subject of his paintings from the expressive and abstract school under the title of the Syrian icon, where he mixed between calligraphy and painting in oil colors, and the woman and her position emerged in the works of the sculptor Muhammad Salloum from Tartous through two wooden sculptures that highlighted the high status of the mother, daughter and beloved woman in life.
The artist, Razan Issa, from Safita participated in the exhibition through an abstract painting and an artistic sculpture titled “The Case of Love” to express a special romantic situation.
The artist Nidal Ibrahim painted a portrait of the late artist in appreciation of his creative and artistic career. He also participated in the painting of the mosque as part of his documentation project for the ancient monuments of Homs.
