Amnesty International: The International Community Must Act to Stop The Crimes of (Israel)

Amnesty International called on the international community to take action to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, stressing the need not to limit international responses to condemnations.

According to Wafa Agency, the Secretary-General of the Organization, Agnes Callamard, confirmed in a press conference held in occupied Jerusalem to present the Organization’s report entitled “The Israeli apartheid regime against the Palestinians” that this regime is harsh and is based on hegemony as Israel practices are those of an  apartheid regime and it commits crimes against humanity in the occupied Palestinian territories in flagrant violation of human rights, thus, the Israeli brutal practices must be put to an end.

“We condemn the crimes of apartheid represented in home demolitions, forced evictions, land grabs, killings, arrests and depriving Palestinians of their rights, and we demand accountability and accountability for Israeli officials,” Callamard said.

Callamard added: “Israel” has a record of racist practices and impunity, and we are committed to working with the International Criminal Court on violations in the Palestinian territories, and we call on the International Criminal Court to consider the crime of apartheid as part of its investigations.

The Israeli occupation continues its crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories through the practices of racial discrimination (apartheid), ethnic cleansing, land grabs, house demolitions and the displacement of their owners in an attempt to implement its colonial plans in light of the suspicious silence of the international community.
