American writer: “Israel’s” crimes in Rafah fail Biden’s desperate attempts to attract voters

Washington, (ST) – All of the  attempts that the administration of US President Joe Biden has resorted to in recent weeks to distance itself from the Israeli genocidal crimes in Gaza Strip and whitewash Biden’s slate before voters have been unsuccessful.

All of these attempts have failed miserably, according to the words of the American writer Andre Damon, with the occupation entity expanding the scope of the atrocities it commits on a daily basis from Gaza to Rafah city.

More than a million displaced Palestinians from the northern Gaza Strip are crowded in Rafah without drinking water, electricity, or food, as Damon clarified in the context of an article published by the American World Socialist website in conjunction with the threats of the occupation entity and the evacuation orders it issues, with children and women  starving amid the stifling siege imposed by “Israel.”.

The Israeli aggression against Rafah exposes the American administration’s vulgar attempts to distance itself from this aggression, and the step that Biden took last week to suspend bomb shipments heading to “Israel” is nothing but a scandalous game to attract Democratic voters at a time when student demonstrations are intensifying in American universities in protest against Washington’s blatant bias towards the occupying entity.

Damon stressed that the Israeli aggression against Rafah is taking place with the blessing and funding of the American administration.

Over the past six months, the White House has sent more than 100 shipments of weapons and ammunition to “Israel,” adding to the $3 billion that the United States was sent annually to the occupying entity in the form of military support, in addition to $14.3 billion in the form of an additional aid package signed by Biden last month to finance and support the Israeli genocide against the Palestinians.
