American website: Defunding UNRWA is part of a broader campaign of ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians

Washington (ST) – An ethnic cleansing campaign pursued by the Israeli occupation entity in its aggression against Gaza, according to an American press report, describing the suspension of funding by a number of countries from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) as part of a broader campaign of ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.

American World Socialist Web Site reported that the withdrawal of funding for the UNRWA by the US and other imperialist powers epitomizes their direct collusion with the Zionist regime in bombing and starving the Palestinians out of Gaza, with the aim of seizing it for Israel.

The site indicated that the fight against the genocide is a fight against US-NATO imperialism, for which Israel is the primary agent in the Middle East.

The report concluded that Washington, London and other capitals back Israel in Gaza because eliminating the “Palestinian question” paves the way for a broader war in the Middle East.
