American police suppress a demonstration in front of Congress demanding an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza

American police suppressed dozens of demonstrators who gathered outside the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee in the Congress building in Washington, DC,  demanding an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The American newspaper “The Washington Post” reported that the Capitol Police used pepper spray and fired projectiles containing irritating chemicals to disperse about 150 people during their participation in a demonstration organized by three pro-peace groups.

The protesters gathered in an area close to the Capitol buildings, the headquarters of the US Congress, and demanded a ceasefire in Gaza.

Several American cities witnessed massive demonstrations in support of Palestine, demanding a ceasefire and an end to the occupation, criticizing American support for the Zionist entity and its crimes against the Palestinian people.
