American Officials: The Biden Administration’s Complicity In The Crimes Of The Israeli Occupation Cannot Be denied

Washington-(ST)- Former American government officials who resigned in solidarity with Gaza, and in protest against American support for the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip confirmed that the administration of President Joe Biden is “undeniably complicit in the killing of Palestinians and the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in the Strip.”

Reuters quoted 12 former officials in the Biden administration as saying in a joint statement: “The administration is violating American laws by supporting “Israel” and finding loopholes to continue shipping weapons to it,” demanding an end to these crimes committed against the Palestinians.

Among the signatories of the joint statement are former members of the Departments of State, Education, Interior, the White House, and the US Army.

In addition, resignations from the Biden administration continue, as an employee in the US Department of the Interior announced her resignation from her position in protest against US policy towards the aggression against Gaza.

The resigned employee said in a statement: “President Joe Biden continued to fund this violence instead of using American influence to stop the killing in Gaza.”

The resignation of American officials reflects the voices of opposition within the United States regarding support for “Israel” while international criticism of the brutal Israeli aggression against Gaza increases.

This brutal aggression led to the martyrdom of about 38,000 Palestinians, in addition to tens of thousands of wounded, massive destruction and a horrific humanitarian crisis.
