American occupation of Syrian territories is a flagrant violation of international law, says Ohrek

Bratislava, (ST) –  Member of the European Parliament for Slovakia and head of the Republic Party, Milan Ohrek, reaffirmed that the US military presence in Syria is illegitimate and represents a flagrant violation of international law.

Ohrek said in a position he posted on his website that the Americans are not satisfied with occupying part of the Syrian lands, but rather they steal oil and natural resources. He wondered when embargoes and sanctions would be imposed on oil products and US officials on the grounds of their practices that violate international laws and norms.

Ohrek stressed that the world will not be a place of peace if international law is not respected and its provisions are not adhered to by Western countries, led by the United States.
