Ambassadors in Moscow Visit Palestinian Embassy, Voice Support for Palestinians in Confrontation of Zionist Aggression

MOSCOW – The Syrian, Iranian and some Latin American ambassadors and head of diplomatic missions in Russia have affirmed their support for the Palestinian people and the Arab people in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq in the confrontation of the Israeli terrorism and all forms of international terrorism.

The diplomats, who yesterday visited the Palestinian Embassy in Moscow and laid wreaths in honor of the Palestinian martyrs and victims of the Israeli savage aggression on Gaza, condemned the US and western countries’ supportive stances and actions to the Zionist aggression which greatly encourages terrorism.

Reyad Haddad, the Syrian ambassador in Moscow said “what is going on in Gaza Strip, Syria and Iraq indicates the existence of an all-out scheme targeting the peoples of these countries through backing the Israeli terrorism in Gaza and the terrorism coming to Syria from 83 countries.”

“The Syrian people’s victory over terrorism is a victory for the Palestinian cause,” Haddad said urging all to back the Palestinian people and resistance in the face of the terrorism of the Zionist entity.

The Syrian diplomat pointed out that the Israeli savage aggression, which directly targeted children, women, elderly, hospitals, mosques and infrastructure in Gaza and caused the martyrdom of thousands of Palestinians and the wounding of tens of thousands in the strip, has failed to achieve its strategic goals thanks the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance.”

For their parts, the Bolivian, Venezuelan, Nicaraguan, Ecuadorian, Cuban and Iranian ambassadors condemned the Israeli savage aggression on Gaza and voiced the solidarity of their countries with the Palestinian people in their struggle to restore their usurped lands and rights. They also denounced the United States’ imperialist role and support of the Israeli aggression.

The Palestinian ambassador, for his part, said the Palestinian people are still facing different forms of Israeli aggression and despite the fact that the UN General Assembly last year expressed solidarity with the Palestinians, Israel persists in violating international legitimacy through its aggression on Gaza”

He affirmed that the steadfast Palestinian people won’t forget the supportive stances of the brotherly and friendly countries which condemned the Israeli brutal aggression on the Palestinian people.”

The Israeli occupation has been launching a savage aggression on Gaza since July 7th claiming the lives of at least 1950 Palestinians and wounding more than 10 thousand.
