Ambassadors and Diplomats: “Expo Syria 2024” Proves Recovery and Strength of Syrian Product

A number of ambassadors, representatives of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions and businessmen stressed that the Syrian Export Expo “Expo Syria 2024” is evidence of the strength of the Syrian product and the vitality of Syria’s diverse industry, as well as to the recovery and advancement in Syria, while noting its opportunities to enhance industrial and trade cooperation between Syria and other countries.

Iranian Ambassador Hossein Akbari said in a statement to the media that this kind of exhibition reflects Syria’s ability to meet the challenges and difficulties it faces despite today’s unjust economic blockade imposed on it, stressing that the quality and diversity of the products displayed in the exhibition demonstrate the strength of the will of Syrians to develop their own capabilities.

In a similar statement, Tehran Mayor Alireza Zakani pointed out that the exhibition will contribute to strengthening trade and economic relations between Syria and other countries, particularly Iran at various levels.

For his part, Bahraini ambassador Wahid Mubarak Sayyar pointed out in a statement to SANA reporter that Syria is witnessing an industrial and commercial renaissance indicating the beginning of recovery of various industries and institutions, indicating that the exhibition is an important opportunity to strengthen relations between Syrian and Arab businessmen and the countries of the region.

The adviser at the Somali Embassy, Mohamed Abdi Ali, made a similar statement that Syria, which has suffered from years of war, has returned strongly to competition with its products, especially that the Syrian product is one of the most desirable products in foreign markets.

The Chairman of the Iraqi- Syrian Business Council, Hassan al-Sheikh Zaini, stated that Syrian exhibitions are witnessing significant progress in marketing their national products, which have begun to return to the Arab and international market. They are always desirable in the Iraqi market and the most in demand to suit the requirements of the Iraqi people, noting the annual Iraqi participation in specialized Syrian exhibitions and the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the economic and trade fields.
