Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League (AL) said that preparations are underway for the visit of the AL’s Secretary-General to Damascus soon to meet the head of the new Syrian administration Ahmad Al-Sharaa.” He added that the Arab countries will take appropriate measures regarding Al-Sharaa’s representation of Syria at the League. He pointed out that reopening the Arab embassies in Damascus is a positive development. stressing that stability in Syria contributes to the stability of the entire region.”
