Alouk Water Station stops working due to  break in  traction line

The Alouk water station in Al-Hasakah stopped working again, as a result of a break in one of the project’s water supply lines in an area occupied by Turkish regime forces, after the project restarted last week.

Director General of the Al-Hasakah Water Corporation, Eng. Muhammad Othman, stated that work at the Alouk station stopped as a result of a break in one of the water supply lines in the Al-Amirt area in the countryside of the city of Ras Al-Ain, which is occupied by Turkish regime forces, which caused the stop of the pumping of water again.

Engineer Othman highlighted the readiness of the organization’s maintenance workshops to go to the area where the fracture occurred and carry out the necessary maintenance after coordination with international organizations working in this field.

It is noteworthy that the Alouk station returned to work last week after a hiatus that lasted for more than four and a half months, as a result of the Turkish occupation preventing the water corporation’s operation and maintenance workshops from entering the station.
