Allaf wins DTT title

ABU DHABI, (ST) – Kareem Allaf, up-and coming Syrian tennis player, has clinched the Dubai Tennis Tournament title after he beat Ammar Haqbani from Saudi Arabia  6-4 6-4 in the final.

 

En route to the final, Allaf defeated his Egyptian opponent Akram Slali 6-4-6-2 in the semi-final, beat Mohammad Abdul Aziz from England 6-4-6-3 in the quarter final, beat Indian Kala 6-1-6-1 in the second round and defeated Alexander from Greece 6-2-6-2 in the first round.

Allaf’s remarkable result will definitely move him up to 322 place internationally.
