Allaf qualifies for DTT semis

Abu Dhabi, (ST) – Kareem Allaf, the promising Syrian tennis-player, along with his Egyptian counterpart  Akram Slali have made it through to the 31th Dubai Tennis Tournament (doubles contest).

In the semi-final, Allaf and Slali will face the Saudi Arabian duo Ammar Haqbani and Omar Ahamad.

 En route to the semi-final round, Allaf and Slali  beat Kala and Ashkan from India 6-1—6-. And they defeated Amer Mohammad and Abdulla Ahli from the UAE 6-4-6-1.

In the individual contest, Allaf beat Mohammad Abdul Aziz from England and beat Indian Kala 6-1-6-1 in the second round.

It is to be noted that Allaf has moved up 16 places internationally after his good results he achieved in tournaments held in Bahrain and Kuwait.
