All roads to the coastal region are closed by Defense Ministry to control violations

DAMASCUS, Mar.8, (ST)- Ministry of Defense closes all roads leading to the coastal region in order to control violations, prevent transgressions, and gradually restore stability to the region.

In a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency, a source at the ministry said: “ After recapturing most of the areas where the remnants of the defunct regime wreaked corruption and crime, the Ministry of Defense announces, in coordination with the Public Security Department, the closure of roads leading to the coastal area, in order to control violations, prevent transgressions, and gradually restore stability to the region.”

The source added: “We afform that the Ministry of Defense previously formed an emergency committee to monitor violations and refer those who violated the command’s instructions during the recent military and security operation to the military court.”
